AT THE DOORSTEP OF THE CHAPTER
Jolanta Kafka, Claretian Missionary Sister is accompanying us in these three days of prayer in preparation for the General Chapter.

The Chapter is to discern together and in communion, a place of listening where we open ourselves to the Spirit who makes all things new.
On this second day we are invited to enter the Chapter, taking charge of this wounded world like the way of the Samaritan, allowing ourselves to be touched by reality, seeking God’s will at this moment in history. Called to live from the strength of smallness, which like a leaven that transforms the dough; from the importance of the seed, drawing strength from the community and the relationship with God.
On this third day we delve into “letting ourselves be done by God”, but paying attention to his ways of doing, which allow us to refine our sensitivity and see where God is already at work and support his work. God sets us free, like Jesus, who in the desert emptied himself of his own projects and renewed himself in total openness to the Father. Can anything good come out of Nazareth? We remember how our history began in places of little relevance and ask ourselves, can anything new still come out of this community?
