We are a group of women from six different nationalities living in Mexico and Guatemala. We are four communities that pray together and share life creating communion from our cultural diversity.

“Letting ourselves be remade by the God of Jesus, embracing our fruitful, shared fragility and walking together.”

Our areas of apostolate...

They are located in rural and urban areas, in the center and on the periphery:
With a liberating mission that includes education, holistic evangelization, youth ministry, children and adults, women’s empowerment, alternative development and entrepreneurship projects, and support for migrants and mothers seeking children.

Our missionary commitment is to choose LIFE, Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation, sharing the mission with the laity. And sometimes interacting with other Congregations and Spiritualities.

We welcome young women who wish to follow Jesus by committing their lives to the liberating mission. We, the Mercedarian Missionary Sisters of Bérriz in the Mexico-Central America Mission, want to: Allow ourselves to be reshaped by the God of Jesus, embracing our shared, fruitful fragility and walking together in a process of personal and communal conversion that generates quality of life .

From the Liberating Charism we want to continue creatively and boldly seeking new paths that help us respond to the cries of humanity and the earth, as well as to the challenges of new generations as a sign of the times in Guadalajara Jalisco and Soyatitán Chiapas in Mexico and in Guatemala City, from an option for the most vulnerable and excluded people.

  • Committed to building a more just, participatory and dignified society.
  • We want to make visible the Mercy and Compassion of God, in collaboration with the solidarity energy of the Spirit.
  • We believe that the experience of God, from a feminine, liberating, supportive and inclusive spirituality, will strengthen us to make the kingdom of God germinate, which is already present in all cultures.
