The Mercedarian Missionary Sisters of Berriz in Micronesia share life and mission in five communities spread across five small islands in three different countries in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
- Republic of Palau
- Saipan and Guam in the Mariana Islands
- Pohnpei and Chuuk in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM)
"...and God took them to the Mariana and Caroline Islands." They arrived in Saipan on March 4, 1928, and Pohnpei on November 11 of the same year year".
- Teaching in secondary education is the main apostolate of the sisters in Pohnpei, Chuuk and Palau .
The sisters also participate and collaborate in various pastoral activities, such as the parish council, liturgy, and catechesis.
- The Maturana House of Prayer in Saipan provides the venue for various activities of the Diocese of Chalan Kanoa, such as Days of Prayer for students of Mt. Carmel School, Premarital Courses, and various parish groups. The sisters also help facilitate some of these Days of Prayer and the parish catechism program.
- The Maturana Community in Saipan is the closing community of the Mission. The sisters take their missionary prayer apostolate seriously, in the name of and in communion with the world, the Church, and the Institute.
- Guam is the community and headquarters serving the Mission. Alongside this work, the sisters are involved in the pastoral activity of the parish and in the catechetical ministry.
- The communities of Palau and Guam are also involved in the formation of the MMB Laity .
